Throughout our assignments, we are searching for evidence of alignment in all its various aspects. Does the story
told by your publicly stated commitments hang together well? Does the Vision, Mission and strategy fit convincingly
with the operational reality? Those statements of corporate values - does any of the behaviour we witness feel
like it reflects these aspirations? If not, what is the nature of the gap?
In addressing the functioning of the organization as a whole, our starting point involves a review of the lessons
which need to be learned from your last attempt to promote new or improved ways of working. The challenge of
avoiding the same dead ends cannot be underestimated, especially in a world where words like
“innovation”, “change” and “transformation” have become over used and devalued.
